The Graph-O-Matic Power back plate increases the contact pressure of the Graph-O-Matic graphic card waterblocks (or of another GPU waterblock) and therefore improves cooling performance. Additionally the mechanical strain on the graphics card is reduced, as the GPU waterblock is mounted with the sandwich technique on the card.
Universally suitable for many GPU waterblocks! Including screws and pressure pad. Overview and use: The Graph-O-Matic backplate is used on the backside of the graphics card and serves as a pressure plate for installation of the waterblock. The screws for installation are therefore not held by the graphics card itself but by the Graph-O-Matic backplate. The Card is therefore mounted like a sandwich between backplate and waterblock. This way the mechanical stress on the graphics card Graphics card is reduced, as the forces do not have to be taken by the PCB but are absorbed by the backplate. The Card is therefor just mounted between the waterblock and backplate and therefore does not bend. With the backplate much higher contact pressures are possible without damaging the GPU or PCB.
